Plant Chomping

Eleven week old Zelda, chomping on plants! She loves doing this. She was starting to pick up in weight. Which was beautiful and meant she wasn't terminally ill with Parvo or anything.

As background:
I got her off Craigslist, from a man who never should have had her to begin with. Proving anyone with a little money can have a puppy. His contract with the breeder, said she was supposed to go back, but instead he sold her to us. (Obviously rendering the contract null and void)

She was just a few days away from eleven weeks old, and only weighed 10-12 pounds. Which is drastically underweight for a puppy of her size and stature. Never-the-less we fed her, bathed her, groomed her, started training her and She brightened up in no time. She was scared when we got her. To get her to sit and shake, he'd beat her until she actually did it. We found this out because when we'd get firm with her, and tell her no, she'd raise a paw and sit (a habit he's clearly burned into her head because she still does this when we get firm and raise our voice)

He left her crated because after six weeks of having her his daughter was suddenly "Allergic" (probably just couldn't afford her or needed the money for something, I'd say.

Broke my heart. She needed me and I needed her.
I wouldn't trade her for the fucking world.
